We loved staying at this hotel! It was close to the city center but still peaceful and quiet. The breakfast had a great selection of food and the staff was very attentive. The reception was wonderful and gave us helpful ideas for sightseeing. The hotel even provided a welcome bottle of wine and a jug of water that was refilled daily. The little touches like these made our stay extra special.

We felt snug, nothing to complain about.

The hotel is situated in a charming location, just a short 5-minute walk from the bustling city center. It is also conveniently close to the popular orchids exhibition. The rooms are well-equipped with amenities such as a safe and an electric fan. The bathroom is spacious and features a bathtub. The staff is friendly and provided a warm welcome, including complimentary wine and snacks in the afternoon.

One minor downside was the slightly uncomfortable pillow, which caused some restless nights.

the hotel crew, specifically Vlastimil, were really nice too assist us in managing this problem. Within just 30 minutes, our tire was fixed efficiently and at a reasonable cost. Vlastimil's really good helpfulness and kindness made us feel like valued family members. We were so impressed by his service that we have already decided to choose the Merkur hotel for our next visit. The overall experience during our 2-night stay was nothing short of perfect, with a friendly hotel crew, made us feel welcome.

Despite a minor inconvenience of the bathroom floor getting wet due to the lack of a shower curtain, everything else about our stay was perfect. The hotel provided a delicious breakfast and afternoon snacks, and the friendly staff were always ready to assist.
